HAUL: Victoria's Secret, Superdrug, Next, H&M and Sainsburys

I went to Meadowhall shopping centre today and bought a few things, mainly for Halloween because I needed a couple of make up bits for my costume but I also picked up some skin care items and clothes.

H&M

From H&M I bought a big, comfy jumper in a really pretty light pink colour. I got mine in an extra small and it's massive on me. The jumper only cost £14.99 and It's going to be one of those things I wear everyday because its so comfortable and looks really cute. Excuse the weird lighting in my wardrobe I don't really know what happened there.

Superdrug

I went into Superdrug mainly because I wanted some makeup for Halloween but also because I needed some of my everyday makeup as well.

Collection: Eye shadow pallet

Rimmel: Lipstick (Heart Breaker)

Maybelline: Mascara (The Colossal Volum' Express)

Rimmel: Matte powder (Silky Beige 005)

Rimmel: Concealer (ivory)

Maybelline: Eyeliner (38 Brown)

Superdrug: Hairspray ( Firm hold & Extra Firm hold)

Victoria's Secret

I went into Victoria's Secret to buy a perfume because I am obsessed with their perfumes and the variety of scents they have, I have a scent that I am in love with from Victoria's Secret but it's too summery for this time of year and so I found this lovely perfume that I think is perfect for all year round because it is quite a warm, comforting scent.

Next

From Next, I picked up this gorgeous biscuit container for my mum for Christmas, I think she will love it.

Sainsburys

Nothing too exciting, just this black leather jacket from Sainsburys because I have been waning a black leather jacket for quite a while but I didn't really want to pay £50+ for one, this only cost £26!

Clinique

I didn't actually buy these items myself, my mum gave them to me because she didn't want them but I thought I would include them in the haul anyway.

Make up remover

Face scrub

Lip Serum

Lipstick (soft bloom)

Halloween Treat ideas...

As Halloween is just around the corner, I wanted to give you a couple of ideas for Halloween inspired treats that you can make and are really yummy.

Ghosts

  1. melt some white chocolate and milk chocolate in two separate bowls.
  2. dip strawberries into the melted white chocolate
  3. put the strawberries in the fridge to harden
  4. when they are fully set, use a cocktail stick to add faces with the milk chocolate

Pumpkins

  1. Melt a bowl full of orange chocolate (if you don't have any, put orange food colouring into white chocolate)
  2. Fully coat mini pretzels with the chocolate
  3. Put a small green sweet on the top for the stalk (m&m's work really well for this)
  4. Leave in the fridge to set

Meeting Hester...

Today I had a meeting with a lady called Hester who comes into school to support students. I told her about my anxiety, panic attacks and depressions and she was REALLY lovely, she has recommended that I go to see a GP about it because apparently my panic attacks are considered really severe.  She thinks that I will need CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) as well as medication to help me control the physical symptoms of my panic attacks (shortness of breath, pins and needles, ringing in my ears,  loss of eye sight and fainting). I think the meeting went really well and I'm proud of myself for going to see her because that is not an easy thing for me t do.

End of daily blogging...

Now that school is back in full motion, I will unfortunately not be able to continue daily blogging, I will of course blog as often as I can and I think that my posts will be a lot more personal rather than beauty-related. If you would like me to still do my beauty reviews and 'Top Ten Tuesdays' then just let me know in the comments because I do really enjoy doing them and I can write them in advance to schedule so it wouldn't really effect my studies.

I failed my third theory test...

Today I took my third theory test... And failed. And this is why.

I spent all morning struggling to breathe and being constantly terrified. In my drama lesson after lunch (my last lesson before my theory test) I started having a panic attack, but instead of leaving the room like a sensible person, I stayed and tried to push the panic attack away. Obviously that didn't work so I spent a good 5 minutes feeling like I couldn't breathe and having tears streaming down my face, sat staring at the floor. When I looked up, the guy I like was staring at me and just said 'do you want to leave?' So I nodded and ran out of the room to get some air. A friend of mine came to find me a minute or two later and helped me to the medical room where the lovely lady there helped me calm down because I was freaking out, my hands and feet were vibrating from the pins and needles, my ears were ringing and my eye sight was fading. She eventually managed to help me slow down my breathing and pulse after a full 20 minute panic attack that was the worse I've ever had.

Straight after my panic attack, my mum took me to my theory test where I sat in the room desperately trying not to have another panic attack. I got my results and went outside to meet my mum, who was chatting away to the guy who I've liked forever (the same one who was in my drama class).

So that was my fun day yesterday, I hope yours was better.
