- Unplug - turn off your phone, laptop, tablet etc. This will help you to stop thinking about all the work you need to do for a few hours, If you want to leave your phone on to play music, put it on airplane mode! This tip really does work I promise.
- Light some candles - they don't even have to be scented tea lights will do just fine just the sight of candles burning makes me feel warm and cozy.
- Pamper yourself - whether that be a bath, facial, Mani-pedi or all of the above, just take some time to treat yourself.
- Play some music that you enjoy - I will post a list of my top 10 favorite songs one Tuesday to inspire you.
- Read a good book - I have a list of my top 10 favourite books if you need some ideas!
- Do some breathing exercises or even just notice your breathing, this can help you relax and forget your worries.
- Try some simple yoga moves - there are some great videos on YouTube showing you how and It's not strenuous or tiring.
- Meditation - again look on YouTube for some amazing videos.
- Write a journal or diary to help organize your thought and deal with each one logically, it can be overwhelming having to deal with mangled thoughts in your head.
- Surround yourself with people who love you. They will cause you less stress and be sympathetic when you're feeling down or tense.
